Back to my story….

The Imam behind the planned building of the Islamic Center near Ground Zero in New York has recently been criticized for his statements he made in a 2006 interview with Barbara Walters and a 2010 interview on WABC Radio in New York. 

Apparently, he candidly discussed his beliefs with Walters during her 2006 special on heaven. “The fundamental thing is you must accept God. You have to believe there is a creator.  The Jews, Christians, whoever believes in God and does good will be saved,” he said during the interview.  When Rauf was asked whether the State Department was correct to designate Hamas as a terrorist organization, he said on New York’s WABC Radio in June 2010: “I do not want to be placed nor will I accept a position where I am the target of one side or the other.”

Hamas is a terrorist organization.  End of story!  Of course, the U.S. State Department was correct to designate the organization as a terrorist one.  I do find it interesting that he didn’t want to take a firm position on whether it was correct to designate them as a terrorist organization.  It was a simple question.  Everyone else in the world considers them a terrorist organization. 

We shall see how this plays out.  Several media outlets have reported stories in which his comments suggest that he is a terrorist sympathizer.  If he is, then that’s one more reason to oppose the planned location of the Islamic Center.  JMO.

Kevin Ricks, Sexual Predator

There has been an update.  Today, Kevin Ricks plead guilty to one sex abuse charge in a Prince William County courtroom.   This results in the first conviction in the case.  The former teacher will be sentenced in October 2010.  At sentencing, the judge can follow the sentencing guidelines, but he doesn’t have to.  Ricks could face a maximum of 10 years in prison.  He is also facing federal charges for transporting child pornography.

Ricks, 50, acknowledged that he was guilty of performing sex acts on a 16-year-old boy who had been a student of his at Osbourn High School.  The acts occurred during winter break in a basement room he was renting from the boy’s father.  A Manassas detective testified that Ricks wrote in his journal that he got the boy drunk before the first incident and that the second incident came just days later.

Ricks was a husband and a father.  It seems that Ricks was staying with the child’s father while he was going through a divorce.  I bet you the wife found out about him being gay and a pedophile.  She probably found out that he was a pedophile, filed for divorce and kicked him out.  This is so sad and all too common.

Lala and Carmelo

I really like Carmelo Anthony and Lala together.  As for the wedding details, I like her Vera Wang dress, but I was not that crazy about the make-up or the floral bouquet.  The wedding ceremony, bridal shower and bachelorette party were all taped for a reality TV series.  So I guess we will soon see what thought went in to picking out the dress, the floral bouquet, make-up, the venue and wedding invitations. 

Of course, I am most interested in the wedding invitations!

However, based on the photo, she seems to be doing just fine to me.  She has been eating!  As a matter of fact, what exactly has she been eating??? We have never seen Whitney Houston so plump.  Have we?

Of course other blogs are calling her fat.  I won’t go there.

I came across this story online.  I could not believe what I was reading when I read it. 

Here’s the scoop. 

The mother, Jarmecca “Nikki” Whitehead, of the two girls, twins Jas and Tas, was murdered back in January of this year.  Her murder went unsolved for close to 6 months.  Her picture is shown at the end of this article.  According to the article, the twins were troubled teenagers. 

Apparently, after an altercation some time ago, the mother sent the twins to live with their great-grandmother.  By all accounts, according to the story, she could no longer handle the rambunctious teens.

While the teens lived with the great-grandmother they were unruly and defiant.   So much so…that the great grandmother was forced to place a deadbolt on her bedroom door to prevent the twins from stealing her items (e.g., money). 

Well, on Friday, the authorities in Conyers, Georgia solved the mystery murder.  They charged the twins with the murder of their own mother.   They will be tried as adults (as they should).

It’s a sad day when anyone loses their life, no doubt.  However, it is really disturbing to see daughters kill their mother.  I have been saying this for years: females have become more and more aggressive over the years.  I wish someone would shed some light on why females, especially young girls, have this level of aggression typically fond in males.

So much for the theory that blacks will start acting like they have some sense, “now that there’s a black president.” As the old familiar saying goes, “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” I was looking at the photo I posted and couldn’t help but think of all of the positive photos we see of First Lady Michelle Obama and the positive image we have of our president….and how the image here is in absolute total contrast to the images of the Obamas and their children.

I realize that they are young and in Miami to have a good time, but…is it possible to have a good time behind closed doors? I mean, seriously, do they have to put everything out in the public’s view? Just a thought….

Anyway, I’m sure these young ladies make their parents proud! Nice photo. LOL.

Reportedly, Hunter traveled with Edwards while he was campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. She was hired to film a series of short videos for his presidential campaign; she started sleeping with him (because I am sure there were no other men to sleep with – Edwards was the only man on the campaign trail), then she became pregnant and she gave birth to a daughter, Quinn, in February 2008.

Oh, by the way, during this time, Edwards’ wife was battling CANCER.

I’m not sure whether you can call Edwards anything else other than vermin. He cheated on his wife, lied about it…he had unprotected sex with another woman and had a child with her, causing his cancer stricken wife and the rest of his family much embarrassment…then HE DENIES HIS OWN CHILD! What a piece of %6$3!

It kills me how these self-professed Christians and people who claim to come from “good American families” always have some story that makes them look more like trash.

Lastly, the little boy says he is sorry for denying that Quinn was his child for an entire year. In a statement released today, he said that he will provide both love and financial support for his little girl. ****Deep Sigh****

Who cares, John, you already publicly denied her???!!! I will never understand any father who denies their own blood. All of the education and political clout in the world will never make up for denying your own child — even it was for only a year.
