Today’s post features Ibi Lewis, an entrepreneur and makeup artist from the DC area.  She is the creative director at Silhouette, LLC.  She has an interesting bio!

Ibi Lewis is Founder and Creative Director of Silhouette, LLC (Silhouette), a lifestyle company focused on the artistry of make-up. Ibi launched her business in 2008, inspired by one of her favorite poems, “A Dream Deferred,” by Langston Hughes. Channeling her love for make-up and belief in its transformative powers, Ibi founded Silhouette as a gateway to beauty and glamour.

Ibi is a motivating and engaging make-up artist who takes the fun and wonder of make-up seriously. She and her team of certified make-up artists endeavor to spotlight the creative aesthetic of each and every client, and reflect their inner beauty through expert make-up application and consultation. 

Ibi has extensive experience working with clients in bridal, photo shoots, professional events and photography, and other special occasions. Previously, Ibi worked as a make-up artist for the famed international beauty company, MAC Cosmetics, where she remains an independent consultant.
